FAQs
We have over a decade of combined experience in manufacturing dental appliances for dentists, including custom-made night guards.
We have since switched to a direct-to-consumer business model. By bypassing the middleman, we’re able to provide the public with professionally-made night and day guards for teeth grinding and clenching, but at a fraction of the cost. Rest assured, our products offer the same level of quality. Skip the visit to the dentist’s office!
We offer these night and day guards for teeth grinding in both materials so you can choose the style that perfectly fits your personal preferences and requirements for comfort and protection.
Our soft material is the most comfortable option, but it may not hold up to heavy bruxism. Our hard material is less comfortable, but it’s extremely tough.
The 1.5mm thickness is nicely balanced, so even the hard material should be quite comfortable, thanks to the low profile.
In short, there’s no right or wrong decision. Choose the soft material if you prioritize comfort and the hard material if you prioritize protection.
This day and night mouthguard is an ideal choice for those seeking a versatile, balanced design. However, it may not be right for everyone. Some people may require or prefer a thicker or thinner guard.
For example, if you’re an especially heavy grinder/clencher while you sleep, the soft, durable night guard or ultra-hard night guard might be a better choice. On the other hand, if you’re a generally light grinder/clencher, the ultra-thin guard may provide adequate protection and more comfort.
We made these night and day guards for teeth grinding and clenching to be an all-in-one solution for people who would rather not switch between two guards. It’s a great middle-of-the-road guard—many of our customers find that it meets all of their needs.
Proper care will improve the performance and longevity of your night and day guards for teeth grinding.
Rinse your day and night mouthguard with lukewarm water after every use to remove any residual saliva and debris. Avoid using hot water, as it may deform the shape.
To slow the accumulation of bacteria, thoroughly wash your mouthguard regularly with a non-abrasive toothpaste and soft toothbrush.
When you’re not wearing it, store your mouthguard in the provided case. Try not to expose your daytime night guard to direct sunlight or heat.
The lifespan of your mouthguard will depend on multiple factors, such as how often you wear it, the severity of your bruxism, and how well you take care of it.
While our high-quality mouthguards are made to last, we strongly recommend that you replace them at least once a year, ideally every six months. Even if you wash your mouthguard regularly, bacteria will accumulate over time, which can lead to cavities and other dental issues.
